Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns and feedback about your experience at Learnosity. We take all feedback seriously and would appreciate the opportunity to address your points offline as there seems to be a disconnect between your review of the company's product strategy and what has recently been communicated in our most recent Town Hall meeting. It is important to note that the views expressed in your review do not reflect the current climate at Learnosity. According to the feedback from our most recent Engagement Survey conducted in May 2024: Our overall engagement score is the highest the company has ever had, sitting at 73%, only 2 points below our company target; 84% of employees would recommend Learnosity as a great place to work; 79% believe that the leaders at Learnosity have communicated a vision that motivates them; 84% of employees feel proud to work for Learnosity. At Learnosity, we foster a culture of transparency and we are committed to creating a positive and supportive work environment for all our employees. We have several initiatives in place to promote collaboration, transparency and employee wellbeing, including: Increased transparency and communication from leadership through our State of the Union (Town Hall) meetings; Coffee with the Founders; Engagement Surveys; Monthly updates; Success Connections bi-annual check-ins. We understand that there is still work to be done, and we are committed to continuing to make improvements. We value your feedback and will use it to help us create a better workplace for everyone. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to Learnosity. Sincerely, The Learnosity People & Culture Team

Pros

Having worked at large corporate organizations I have a good understanding of what the pitfalls are for a very redtape admin focussed company. At Learnosity with between 70-80 employees the opportunity to get things done is immense. It is fast moving and goes hand in hand with the pace of innovation that Learnosity is pioneering. A big thing for me when working with technology is to be able to stand behind it. When I first heard of Learnosity I liked the concept and of course there is the doing good part of what the benefits of the product are to society. But there are many tech products in the world and in edtech especially and finding the ones that actually work is harder than you would think. The guys here have built a fantastic product and it is clearly a developer led and driven company focussing on technology all of the time. These guys eat, breathe and sleep code.

Cons

Working across multiple countries presents it own difficulties with late or very early calls across different time zones. Unless we build a time machine I don't see how we can change this and it also has the added benefit of visiting interesting countries. Smaller companies have to learn on the fly, this presents it own opportunities but of course there are some things that can go wrong through lack of experience. However, fail fast is a good philosophy that seems to work.

Pros

Learnosity is a great place to work as the employees are all very sharp and truly working to improve education. The leadership team has a great vision for the company and maintains a culture that is based on trust, with quite a bit of fun mixed. While the Work Hard - Play Hard mantra is something that many companies "try" to claim, at Learnosity it is absolutely something that is present and encouraged at every level of the organization. Employees are encouraged to challenge the status quo to constantly improve the culture, product, and day-to-day operations.

Cons

Due to the extreme success of the company, the ability to scale is always a moving target. However, this empowers the employees to identify creative solutions to address new problems that result from continued success.
