Pros

Great pay and phenominal benefits.

Cons

Terrible work environment: The staff are disingenuous, vapid, due to a condition of in-house grooming. They start off by love-bombing new employees with praise of how they are are doing a great job, then after around week 2-week of employment criticize them how they are later doing everything wrong despite training. The don't give adequate orientation to the CNAs (3 days only,) and the gossip is rampant with little to no accountabilty of staffs on- goings . Should anyone try to defend themselves in any situation is often met harassment with deflection from an otherwise aloof management, whose primary concern is maintaining appearances, among irrelevant priorities to staff concerns and patient care.

Horrible managers and ineffective "leaders" are ruining this organization

Pros

Legacy makes it a point to hire staff they feel will be a good fit. This is likely so that you can forget how horrible management is. The staff are really amazing, though often and frequently taken advantage of but they are holding up the organization

Cons

Human Resources: if you ever anything from human resources, they basically tell you "it's your managers discretion". Being told you can't take time off when staffing is low? Manager discretion. Have a problem with your manager ( you will because Legacy hires horrible managers)? Human resources tells you to go talk to your manager. If you are in middle management, life will be great for you at Legacy. Discrimination: Pregnant? Your manager will discriminate against you! In the military guard or reserves? Good luck even getting a job here because it doesn't fit "the needs of the business" Pay: you will get cost of living increases that are only 2.5% of median pay. The more years of experience you have, your raise may only be a few cents/hour. Inflation is 6%. You do the math. "Flexing" for staffing is also common and will take a hit to your pay
