Pros

Cool legacy gear. Co-workers were great.

Cons

Everything started out absolutely amazing at Legacy. I was hired as a project Manager. The pay was a generous salary plus commission (no draw). Compensation was wonderful and it rewarded my skills as an experienced salesman and my ability to sell upgrades to clients. I had so much time to pay attention to each file and give each customer a fabulous experience . As the majority of the PM position was administrative work. Providing clients with regular updates and contacting insurance companies from 7:30 a 3:00 and then appointments from 3:00 to 6:00. I was proud to be apart of this company and to wear their brand. Then, it all went down the drain. They eliminated the PM position company wide and made everyone an “Account Executive.” This meant door knocking for at least 6 hours a day in the dead of winter while being tracked on an app and having a DRAW compensation, eliminating the salary plus commission structure. The draw is completely impossible to get out of. Even the best salesman at the branch is still in draw. What makes me most upset is the fact they most likely knew this new structure was coming out soon and decided to hire me anyway without a heads up that this change was on the way in the coming weeks . They also require 4 signed contracts a week as an Account Executive to make the required quota. If you don’t, your job is on the line and they will fire you. Because of this, we had to often times be disingenuous and sign up many homeowners who had absolutely no storm damage to their homes, leaving the customer in a terrible situation with their insurance company and a bad taste in their mouth for our company. Just to make quota so we didn’t lose our jobs. I have been in the roofing industry for many years and I would advise anyone considering Legacy Restoration to stay far away from them and their pie crust promises.

Pros

Working outside , getting your steps in . Room for promotion

Cons

Quotas consistently get raised leaving no room for commission . You beat up your car with no gas compensation. You’re making like $23 an hour + all the mileage and gas in your car, Also horrible hours. You’re better off to go work retail
