Pros
Well, benefits from what I understand are good. But you work your tail off to the bone. At least the paycheck doesn’t bounce.
Cons
Careful of what you say. The typical conversation and banter ends up being taken seriously and you’re being hauled in front of the manager explaining your actions during a harmless conversation. There is a lot of “special” favorites, and if you’re not one of them..well your time is short with this company. Besides that: You’re worked extremely hard, and your paid nominally at best and your sweat and effort isn’t noticed. However, make a mistake, you have a target on your back. So, make sure you have your brown nosing skills in order or you won’t go far. Don’t forget that micromanaging and constant looking over your shoulder is typical. Even if you’re working, they perceive you’re not doing your job in the first place. Management likes to not trust their employees. If you’re used to that, you’ll fit right in!
