Confused corporate message Teamwork is at low due to individual goals not being symbiotic with each department Customer support could be better High turnover rate in both management and employees In 3 years I have had 5 different managers Anemic commission plan Funnel Funnel Funnel review. Obsessive funnel management high-pressure sales

Poltics carry weight not sales success

Pros

I worked with some great people every day. This job has the potential to truly make a difference.

Cons

Too much politics. Some in leadership roles couldn't lead themselves out of a paper bag, let alone lead the team to success. I believe our team succeeded in spite of local and senior leadership. Too many good people are not recognized or rewarded for their efforts while the cronies of leaders are promoted, even if unqualified. Leadership asks for suggestions for improvement and never acted on any that I saw. Yet they kept having meetings and developing committees to make change without actually doing anything. Seems like they mistook activity for progress. Its been awhile since I worked there and all signs point to it getting worse. A shame.

Pros

Many talented people are still here after the acquisition by Leica. The company is lucky that the brain drain wasn't worse. Having said that, it's not an old boys' club. Adding fresh talent is always welcome. You will be appreciated if you join the team.

Cons

There are not enough resources to implement needed changes. Even though those changes have been identified and planned, something "more important" always seems to trump the priority. Then more work gets thrown upon the heap. This results in a dilution of focus and loss of momentum. Then things just tend to drag out.
