Pros

No pros, people who work here are like monsters, no growth, low pay.

Cons

Absolutely no vision, no ethics, and not a good place to work. Everybody is eating each other. No professionalism whatsoever, very nasty people to work with.

Pros

You don't need an impressive resume to work here. Literally anyone that needs a job can get employed here. Beware if your an insurance agent, you'll have no base only commissions. Good work-life balance if you can compartmentalize your stress from work. I'd leave around 6pm every day but would feel sick during anytime after work or on the weekends just thinking about going back to the office. Loved upper upper management. Michael and Greg are both excellent leaders. Also, the extremely fast paced environment sets you up for a life a pleasure once you leave. Lastly, knowing insurance is a useful tool in life.

Cons

Where do I begin?! Wayyyy too many cooks in the kitchen. You can't get anything done without getting approval from 5 different departments. All "advisors" are just old school insurance agents...it's like a big secret because they act like they're investment bankers on wall street. These insurance agents are the most fake people I've ever met in my entire life. They will manipulate you until they get exactly what they want. I was constantly belittled and talked down to because of every advisor's power trip. Also the pay is absolute garbage and your sick days count as vacation days so get used to people working next to you with the flu. There's no upward mobility unless your content with "AVP" as the highest career movement you can attain.

Pros

Nothing to say but the payroll

Cons

New Business department is run by mean people. No raises or work life balance. Asked to be remote during a pandemic and now instead they make you forgo a raise for three years “cost of living” when everyone is told compensation is based on performance. People have left the department for good reasons. Management pretends to care but it’s all words and fake smiles. They take advantage of their employees fears during this pandemic to their advantage. They all play favorites, they lost several good people this year because of wrongful termination or resignation. They lost a great individual because they won’t listen and tried to hold people hostage.

Thank you for your feedback. For everyone’s safety we’ve been remote since March 2020 and will remain so until advised by our critical response team. Our performance process is a pay for performance model, we evaluate each employee based on their roles, responsibilities, location as per fair market guidelines. We always encourage our employees to speak with their supervisor about any issues, but if that isn't an option then employees should feel confident in talking with their HR Business Partner or email us at hr@lenoxadvisors.com.
