Pros

+ Working remotely. + Flexible hours.

Cons

+ No consistency in daily work process. Constant changes with no real expectation of growth. + Workload is massive. Small teams and not enough people to clear up workload. Once you start on something, there is never an end date. You could be working on something for months. Additional work is added and before you know it, you are working on multiple projects at a time with no help. + Local team is not helpful at all and expect other departments to clean up their mess. + Employees are not given clear instruction on what to expect. Employees are not thoroughly trained. Given a few days and expected to know what you are doing. Some have problems following instructions, working with new technology and need additional help that is not available.

Autonomy, okay benefits, billing/referrals/insurance paneling is handled by other departments

Cons

Minimum productivity expectations, corporate feel, not many opportunities for tasks/duties outside of clinical, face-to-face work

Unfulfilled Promises

Pros

I can't really think of any.

Cons

If you part of an acquisition and they make promises of a new position and the possibility of moving up the "corporate ladder"; do not believe them. You will suffer through a mess of a transition period just to find out there are no new positions available for you and you are ineligible for any difference in pay because you are considered a "new employee" regardless of how long you worked for your previous company prior to the acquisition. You are basically starting all over again. Front office positions max out at very low pay. They claim they do yearly raises in January but it's 3% (an inflation raise) and everyone gets one. You have to go through a review process to get any other kind of raise, but then they say they are "restructuring" and can't afford to give anyone a raise.
