Pros

We help people, legitimately. We work hard to help children who can't afford our services.

Cons

Sometimes unprofessional management. People are promoted based on looks more than ability. I haven't found an ugly person in upper management.

Pros

A chance to help individuals navigate obstacles and challenges to learning and life. Lots of client interaction and the chance to really see a change happening because of your's and your colleague's efforts.

Cons

Poor managers. Unprofessional managers run rampant in the company and remain unchecked if they can keep numbers at a reasonable level or blame someone else for why they're not. Disingenuous and unpredictable, they can make working at this company a very sad experience. Purportedly altruistic and focused on bringing the magic of learning to those who need it, this is a very for-profit company that charges thousands of dollars a week (and pays its employees very little) and constantly keeps their employees in fear of budget-balancing pay cuts while making their instruction available to only the most wealthy and people who have the ability to sue school districts for funds.

Pros

Working and helping different types of kids was a true pleasure. The programs for the most part are effective. The clinicians in Scottsdale were incredible people and truly care about the kids.

Cons

Clique atmosphere. Poor management structure. Little room for advancement. Poorly defined culture. Questionable business practices both in regards to employees and clients. The jobs sole focus is sales under the guise of helping children. Employees are fearful to speak to management due to a history of negative reprisals.
