Pros

Kind people, cash prizes, they try to make work fun.

Cons

If you don't already know digital marketing, the training process will not help get you to a place where you can stay there long term. They have a rotating sales team, if you come in the door its probably because they fired their weakest links the week before to get you there. From the point I started to when I left, only 7 people who worked in the office were the same as when I started, everyone else had been let go and new people came in for them to test out. The revolving door keeps spinning. The management makes money and doesn't worry about who gets the boot through the process, as they can pay you $12 an hour for a few months and then fire you, to start over again with someone else. If you do a good job and make an abundance of sales (which is not an easy goal at some points during the year, but the goal is never adjusted during hard times), you get increased in pay up to like $17/hr with commission (which is a small percentage of the sale), or residuals. This job is only best for people with prior experience in digital marketing, as their training teaches you more about what digital marketing is than how to sell it to people. But the only thing that will keep you working there is if you know how to sell it to people.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry you didn’t find the training for sales as helpful as the training for digital marketing. This is something we are working on, and we’ve always taken the approach that we would rather have a team of highly skilled digital marketers than people who are just good at selling. Sometimes, it’s about investing in people with less experience, giving them the training they need, and letting them demonstrate their abilities. A large percentage of our sales team has been with us for well over a year, and some since the beginning. We do not like having to let people go and we do everything possible to avoid it. It’s significantly more expensive to onboard a new person than to train and work with a current employee to get the numbers where they need to be. At the end of the day it’s a performance based role and sometimes it’s just not a good fit. We wish you well, and thank you for your feedback.

Pros

-Great Culture -You get what you work for. The former employees that are complaining are the ones that are new to sales and don't understand that sales is tough and requires a lot of adjustment at times! -Once you hit above around 7k, your pay increases. Your pay depends on your sales. There is no one else to blame if you can't succeed. -Snacks/Coffee -Everyone is friendly and helpful! -If you read about the CEO and his mission, you can tell he really cares for the employees!

Cons

-Can get loud in the office at times. -Need to teach the platform to the sales reps in order to stir up a good convo with business owners.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. I’m glad you mentioned the pay increase once the initial goal is met. You’re right about it sometimes being a bit noisy, but we wouldn’t trade our culture for anything. Our new HQ will provide a bit more quiet space for small team/group collaboration. We appreciate everything you do!
