Pros

Great team leads. Fun work culture and environment. Encouraging team members.

Cons

Really, I mean really bad pay. For the amount of writing they demand, they should be paying more than what target pays their cashiers. Team leads were always extremely stressed which made the smaller people feel the weight of that stress. Importance was always given to how many points, or articles you could write. Rather than the quality. Never got a chance to be personable with my clients. You’re basically a “ghost” writer since nothing ever gets published with your name 🥴

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. We’re glad you see and can experience our culture. In terms of transparency, each candidate is sent information about our sales pay structure prior to their interview. Not many companies provide that prior to a hire. We work in an extremely competitive landscape, so our expectations need to be high, and when we succeed, so are the rewards. A very high percentage of people hit the President's Club. The goals are very realistic.

Pros

Culture: The work environment here is awesome! Everyone on the management team works incredibly hard to make sure that you're getting the proper training and tools to help make you successful in your role. Through their encouragement, mentorship, guidance, and a lot of diligent hard work I was able to grow from an entry-level digital marketing specialist role to an assistant sales manager in around 1.5 years. The culture that's promoted and cultivated here is also very much work hard play hard. You're expected to work hard and grow in your role but management also does a great job of encouraging everyone to have fun and keep things light hearted. Cold calling/sales can be difficult so having this environment to work in makes the day to day job very enjoyable! In addition, management does a fantastic job of encouraging employees to take part in both LP sponsored and non-sponsored events to promote relationships both in and outside of work. It really feels like a family that genuinely cares about you and what you have going on personally. Training: There is a lot to learn when you first start! My first couple of weeks very much felt like information overload but management understands this and doesn’t expect you to know everything day one. In fact, this is a job that you will always be continuing your education on all things digital marketing and rewards those that take the initiative to proactively learn as much as they can. Whether it’s your first day, or you’ve been here for a few years, there are always things you can be expanding or growing your knowledge on. Ethics: One of Logical Position’s core values is transparency. While much of the digital marketing industry is full of smoke and mirrors, LP stands apart by providing the most transparent management services possible. It feels great to be able to talk with business owners and let the know that we can’t sell them any one of our services if we don’t see that it will help them viably grow their businesses. In fact, I’ve personally had a number of prospects that wanted to partner with us but we had to turn them down due to a number of factors that would have been detrimental for their business. Knowing that we have businesses best interests at heart really provides an additional boost of confidence to know what we’re selling will make a meaningful and lasting impact for them. Pay: While the job doesn’t initially pay a lot when you first start, the pay model is very aggressive and you will be quickly rewarded for the hard work that you put in. That’s really the beauty of the model, though. This role isn't designed for people that want to simply coast or just get by but rather for self-motivated individuals that are willing to put in the time and effort to grow.

Cons

Cold Calling: While the culture and environment are great, this is still very much a sales/cold-calling role. Sales can have its ups and downs so it’s definitely not for the faint of heart or those that aren’t willing to put in the grind by proactively sourcing leads and reaching out to 50+ business every day. While this may be seen as a negative for some, it can also be the type of role that others really exceed in.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts in such an extensive review. We appreciate your contributions and especially your persistence! Regarding your Advice to Management, that’s good feedback and we appreciate it, especially from someone who has gone through our training and been successfully promoted. While we need to maintain a consistent performance policy for all salespeople, when someone is struggling, we do our best to look at each person’s metrics and job performance individually. We then analyze those factors based on all of the information available in order to give everyone an opportunity to succeed.
