Pros

Good Work/Life Balance Guaranteed base salary and non-recoverable draw. Decent Benefits

Cons

The expectations in this role are clear but you have almost no involvement in your success. Managers lose your deals but they only give effort if they want to (they have favorites which they will bend over backwards for). Others are on their own. Very monotanous job. For a marketing company, they do a horrible job of marketing their own company. No name recognition or inbound leads.

Thank you for your thoughts and we're glad you enjoyed the work life balance at LP. While we are always looking for ways to continually improve, we are proud of the work our teams are doing. Our Sales Managers have helped close over 70% of deals so far in 2023. Our marketing team has been instrumental in increasing our company visibility by helping us win a considerable amount of industry awards, highlighting the great work our product teams are doing. Members of the C-suite speak at every Quarterly All-Hands Meeting and at many department-specific meetings, sharing updates along with their vision for the future that aligns with their orgs and responsibilities. We're sorry things didn't work out and sincerely wish you the best.

Pros

The company has a lot going for it. They are a leader in the digital world and they're work is fantastic. If I owned a business, it would be difficult for me to not use LP. Kevin is the GOAT.

Cons

Growing pains. I'm not going to get too deep into this because I've moved on...but there were a lot of issues with the leadership on my team. I was promised a lot of things when I switched from the Sales team to L&D, and within 2 months, those promises were out the window. Pay structure for positions outside of Sales. Not really defined...I hit my "maximum" earning potential when I was hired into the role and was NEVER given an opportunity to increase my pay. This didn't really give me any incentive to work harder because I would never get paid more. Performance based pay? Bonus levers? Yearly cost of living increases? I was basically paid the same for nearly 5 years. If you work in an Opps position, be prepared to NEVER get recognition for your work.
