Pros
Good competitive pay. Willing to work with you, if you haven't graduated with a bachelors degree.
Cons
The culture in Salt Lake prides themselves on working long hours. There is a pressure in the office to work 50 - 60 hour weeks. Despite being a hybrid working model - there is also pressure to work in the office, and not work remotely. Management rarely shares their praise or gratitude. PTO is often not used. During the holidays, there is an un-spoken expectation that you will work through the holidays and take minimal time off. What happens if you take time off? Management will talk about you behind your back. Overall no work-life balance. The expectation is that if you come to work you're committed to the grind. There are also no work benefits in the salt lake office. They never cater lunches, there are no holiday parties, no Christmas gift/bonus, not even decorations are put up for the season. There are no growth opportunities within the company. Careers are posted externally only - there is little to no internal hiring. There is no way to refer connections to jobs. Ultimately there is no sense of community and no path to progression in your career.
