      Pros

      Working for MG Properties has been an overwhelmingly amazing experience. Their training programs are thorough, fun, creative, and most importantly - effectively insightful! Having worked for some major top hotel brands, I have been through some great training programs but I would say MG's tops the cake. They provide on-site new hire training, mentor sessions, online education, off-site new hire training, and interactive follow-up training (leadership, software etc.). It feels good to work for a company that fully equips you with the knowledge and skills to do your job and then rewards you for doing it! In addition to the training, MG has created a comprehensive set of Policies & Procedures, something lacking in many other companies. If you have a question about something - it's probably in their easy to read P&P's. Lastly, from what I hear getting hired can be pretty challenging. This makes sense considering everyone I have met is very friendly and knowledgeable. If you get hired, you will be among the best in property management.

      Pros

      MG Properties takes care of thier employees. They treat them like they are family and even if it's a correction it's more like a training correction and not a threat of being fired like other companies do. The training I am receiving here is great and very interactive like the road show that just happened last week. The subtle attaboys that the company gives when you do something positive for the company just adds to the atmosphere. The regional manager that handles our region is very informative, very knowledgable and treats me and my team like we are her family. I love this company.

      Cons

      Sometimes it feels as though I am not making as much in my position as I should, but there is a commission and bonus structure to help combat that, so it's kind of a pro and con. Also it's hard to find the position that I really want because once someone is in the community manager position you almost have to wait until they die before they give it up. They are coveted positions and everyone I talk to loves thier position so it may be a long time before I am able to move from my current position.

      I like MG it is a great and awesome Company to grow with!!!! They are really making strides to change their training lay out and I really appreciate that as an employee

      Cons

      Mg is an awesome company to work for. My only complaint is I feel the leasing consultants as a whole the hourly pay is low, and I wish it was higher
