'A Great Company' is in the Past
Pros
Flexible schedules, Work from Home Options, Classes offered to help improve skills and leadership, Decent health insurance plans, 1 month paid maternity leave and 2 weeks paid Paternity leave, Bonuses when MTM is profitable
Cons
When I first started at MTM, I loved everything about the company. They seemed to have a great plan ahead of them and seemed to care about their employees. MTM says they have really great advancement opportunities and that their employees have been there for a long time, but those who have been there for 10+ years are either family or are content being in a lower level position. MTM has taken a turn for the worse starting in the summer of 2016 when they began firing people left and right. Most of these people had been at MTM for a long time (5 or more years) and were successful with their teams and improving the company, however, MTM was needing to make budget cuts. They would tell these employees that their positions were being eliminated, but soon after these people were let go, a promotion was given to other employees in the same exact position. It is obvious that MTM got rid of these employees to save a buck which is absolutely ridiculous. Upper management is pretty much a joke. MTM has gotten rid of managers and directors that deserved to be in their position to promote those who don't have a clue to what they are doing. Many people have left MTM because of the direction they are taking including myself. MTM can't expect to draw good employees to them when they fire all the good ones and pay extremely under industry value for almost all of their positions. I would like to believe the CEO is not aware of all the corrupt management and terrible business practices going on, but then again, how can she not?
