Pros

Very challenging and complex applications. The applications made by Manhattan Associates are used by Tier 1 customers. We solve very complex work flows and compete with the best in the market-place. Here you will learn fast. The work culture is pretty aggressive. You are expected to hit the road running - on day two (well sort off) You will get enough opportunities to learn and to take newer responsibilities. Technology stack is getting kinda outdated- but still is not that bad.

Cons

You don't have a life outside work. Lots of politics between groups. I guess that's not that bad- considering - this happens in almost all places of work. Poor program management.

Pros

The best reason i can think of is the learning curve at Manhattan is worthwhile. People get in to the groove quickly and learn a lot. There is no way to escape work and if you are a person who loves to slog late hours, then this is an hec of an experience. It does almost everything in supply chain software and there is tremendous space for learning. This is probably one of the best places for out of school graduates . The work is never ending here. The place is definitely competitive.

Cons

The downside is again too much of work. People who would like 8-5 job wouldnt love this place. Senior Management expects employees indirectly to work more than eight hours everyday which if violated will be very difficult on the individual in terms of career growth.

Pros

One of the best places to acquire supply chain systems knowledge in distribution and transportation space. There is scope to learn a lot about supply chain software solutions and implementation practices.

Cons

Management is very poor laying out a vision and following through to make it happen. If your desire is to learn supply chain operations, lean methodologies, operational performance improvements or six sigma, this is not the place. You are not immune to stress, politics, client abuse when product doesn't work and lack of proper coordination between services and product development groups.
