      Pros

      Manhattan Associates is a good place to work for a first job out of college, but I wouldn't recommend staying there from more than 2 or 3 years.

      Cons

      For consultants, there is a punitive amount of travel and I don't think there is a clear path to advancement that corresponds with consultants' abilities. For technical people, Manhattan Associates is horrible for your career. They are late implementing the latest tools and they aren't assisting their current technical staff in making the migration from C++ to Java or .NET.

      Pros

      Great oppurtunities to learn a variety of technologies. If you have the desire and ambition to work are and face challenges, there will be valuable projects for you to work on. Manhattan's products are extremely complex and engineered, exposure to codebase and project work will present valuable experience with a variety of Microsoft and Open Source technology stacks. Manhattan's services department is very client facing and business oriented - on one hand billibilty prohibits differing or interesting project designs and on the other presents valuable business experience for dealing with high end clients.

      Cons

      Little to medicore recognition. Very business orriented - little time to explore new or interesting projects.
