      Fun, until it’s not fun anymore

      Pros

      Wasn’t sure. I took the job blindly. No staff. On good faith. The girls were very nice to work with.

      Cons

      Upper management was awful. I agreed to help out as store manager at another store. I was promise a small commute reimbursement and a small cost for traveling. They only paid a small portion. It hurt knowing I left my team for months for this. In the end all I wanted was to help our district and my store. But it turns out.. I got. Got.

      Pros

      I was able to negotiate for a higher pay and they agreed to only have me working Saturdays and Sundays and are super accommodating on scheduling a time off or adjustments

      Cons

      Some people don’t always carry their weight but the people who work there are pretty kind at the location I’m talking about

      Great training programs, flexible work schedule, amazing support from peers within my district

      Cons

      Work/life balance is difficult to achieve, corporate often times feels out-of-touch with field workers (example, providing incentives that our teams aren’t interested in, or only rewarding the store leader for store performance when it should be the entire team). The amount of hours we get to run our stores does not coincide with the amount of work that there is to be done. Stores often feel understaffed which leads to quick burnout and the overwhelming feeling that you cannot have a day off.
