      Pros

      great discount on clothing and tons of options to move up

      Cons

      when I applied I was never told it would be part time. I moved around my other job hours, which I was getting paid more there and not at Mauries, to be able to be more helpful for the store and I never got hours. I always had to wait for someone to need a shift covered to get more hours.

      Low hours for part time Flexible hours/must work weekends Low pay/hard to get a raise Not a lot of coverage because corporate does not give hours to stores

      Pros

      The customers are wonderful and very loyal. Great clothes and a generous discount.

      Cons

      Never feeling appreciated is a difficult environment to work in. Every shift you are being asked to improve and change; you are literally coached to the point of exhaustion. You never feel as though you are doing well in your position. The management staff is a cliche. If they don't like you there is no future for you at this company. They are fake and will push you out.
