Pros

Good benefits, great benefits of your a parent. Company is lead by other DVMs, with real world experience. Many opportunities for growth or career development. Support for people to become the best versions of themselves. Great culture in most teams. Management has seen significant improvement with the change in leadership. Large bonus for tenured members.

Cons

Large influx of inexperienced caregivers in all roles bringing the medical quality and patient care down in recent years. Some teams have poor culture taking away from the positivity of the job for some.

Pros

Great job to help people in need of help with their sick/ ill pets. Back techs and Doctors are dedicated and amazing to work with.

Cons

Very, very clicky front office. Only speaks with certain people and ignores the rest. Horrible trainers with attitudes. Very immature. Trainer’s may speak Spanish behind your back.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are saddened to hear that you felt your experience at MedVet did not reflect our standards for a positive employee experience. MedVet prioritizes having all caregivers receive the training and support needed in order to flourish in their roles and feel supported. Our Basic Skills Curriculum, which is a structured training involving classroom time and hands on training for a new caregiver’s first 4 weeks, is a major focus of our employee experience for 2025. Communication is a team effort between hospital leadership, support services, as well as the caregiver providing feedback on how their training is aligning with their expectations. We appreciate you sharing your voice so that we can continue to innovate and improve.
