I can not say enough about the wonderful company I work for/ with. We truly are a wonderful team. MedVet cares! Good benefits. Family oriented. As the company continues to rapidly grow, not only do they take time to help new staff adjust and integrate, but they also do a lot of promoting, and start within the company. There is so much potential, and perks, in working here. Not just a job...a family and career!

Pros

Set schedule, appropriate pay, easy to get along and work with fellow staff, treated well during training, lunch breaks, able to request days off and find coverage.

Cons

Working holidays(to be expected in 24/7 ER), lots of discrepancies about certain procedures, treatment sheets are not the most efficient for ER.

Making sure our hospital employees take time to recharge is critical, especially given the work that we do. We just announced a new hospital director for MedVet Dallas, Uptown and Richardson, who will be starting in a few weeks. I'm not sure what department you're in, but as that new leader onboards, I'm sure she'll want to hear suggestions for how we can be even better. Thank you!
