Pros

Since working there, I have learned alot, and I love how people actual take time and explain the "what, and why" they are doing and what they are working on. They don't treat you like you are suppose to know everything. I love that even when they are extremely busy, and can't take the time to teach you that day, they make sure to come back to you a different day so they can teach you, and it's usually a day or 2 later. The employees have great personality. If they are having a "bad day", they don't take it out on you, and they still continue to smile, and make it their mission to make sure you have a good day. The management will do their best to check up on you during your training weeks and check in with you to make sure you are getting the training you need, and if your not getting the training you need, they try to change it so you do. The employers make it really enjoyable to come to work, and make it fun to work with.

Cons

the only thing I can say bad is the " on boarding training packet you complete is alittle bit all of the place, and you have to search for what gets completed for that day.

Pros

This specific position is daytime only which for me is good having a new family. Very happy with salary and other benefits. Great support from the team of other vets, specialists, technicians, assistants and CSRs.

Cons

I am still adjusting to 10 to 12 hour shifts, but this is made up for in the fact I am home more days of the week.

Pros

Great place to learn and see a variety of health issues and complications.

Cons

Thrown to the wolves most of the time after training. Pay is lack luster. Not willing to negotiate schedules, especially when it comes to school. Have to work a weekend day, and 4/6 holidays. Large caseloads with short staffing.

Thank you for your review. MedVet takes training and onboarding seriously and we will continue to invest significant time and resources in order to ensure all new caregivers are trained thoroughly and equipped for success. Although training periods vary depending on each situation, standard training for full time team members is a minimum of 4-6 weeks and can always be extended when needed. MedVet is committed to serving our Referral Partners and community 24/7 and we recognize that this requires mindfulness around scheduling and how we prioritize our team members’ needed time to relax with our continued needs on those less-preferred days and shifts. We strive to always foster an environment that is positive, teamwork-oriented, and compassionate. Additionally, the past year a lot of work and effort has been put into analyzing job descriptions, role assignment, and fair pay within each geographic area. We are constantly re-evaluating these items and adjusting where needed. Every employee has the opportunity to discuss career goals with managers and obtain their help working through a plan that involves both work by the team member as well as resources and support from MedVet. We understand that our environment is fast paced and growing. We are actively recruiting and hiring for new team members to bring some lift to our amazing teams. We also have some really great benefits to help navigate stress and support your mental and physical health. We encourage you to connect with your local HR Partner, Clinical Manager or Hospital Director to discuss your concerns further as we would love to partner with you to find solutions. Thank you for sharing your voice.
