Going in the wrong direction

Pros

Working from home flexibility Casual work environment The employees that haven’t left the company yet are truly professionals and client focus

Cons

Lack of accountability on the leadership team. The employees that are really doing the work and the right thing for the clients are leaving in masses, even without having another job. Low morale among employees is suffocating. You can work 60 or 80 hours a week for a whole year to try to salvage poorly defined projects and still receive a zero percent increase and no bonus at the end of the year. No explanation given.

Medecision Response
10y
Thanks for your post and your time at Medecision. As a reminder, we respond to those posts that we believe are factually incorrect, with data and facts. We continue to respect individual experiences and understand that our environment isn't for everyone. Some data: we measure and track our turnover rates closely. In 2015, that rate is similar to, or lower than, our company and industry benchmarks. In addition, as we have mentioned in past posts, we are 100% focused on customer satisfaction and while we would prefer higher scores in all measured categories, we are specifically tackling issues that our customers have reported in our regular satisfaction surveys.

Pros

people are great. pay, benefits and perks are good. always work with new technologies. i've always been treated well by management. never an issue to work from home.

Cons

work/life balance can be a real drag. moral often seems low with employees. changes seem to be too rapid and impetuous at times. we seem to bite off more than we can chew. i don't think mgmt ever consults employees, and this is sometimes to their detriment. i think project managers have too many projects too manage and this creates serious gaps.
