Pros

Opportunity for advancement!! Benefits, co-workers! Work environment/culture, quarterly contests, idea of helping impact people's lives! Growth!! Stock plan!

Cons

It can be hard work at times, but it is definitely worth every minute of it! While the hours are long we still have the opportunity to get out and work out, and it is very flexible as well in case you need to jump out to take care of something personally, etc...

Pros

Good coworkers. I learned a lot about recruiting in the life science industry although it was not due to the company but my own desire to put in the hours to learn.

Cons

Bad management throughout the company. A large majority of the people in management positions should not be there and do not know how to manage people or run an office. The company is full of good people just not the right people in the right roles. Bad communication. There is little to no communication between levels of management. Bad KPI's/ metrics. Every recruiter in the company is held to the same metrics no matter the industry, office, or realities of the job market. There can be no positions for you to work on and they still expect you to meet the metrics and get placements. They do not recognize that there are factors that go into recruiters success that are completely out of their control. Lack of transparency with recent layoff. They recently had a large layoff and said it was "performance-based" although it is public knowledge that a private equity firm made a significant investment in the company recently and they are cutting costs. It was obvious during my time there that they over hired during the COVID staffing boom. This growth was clearly not sustainable for the company. Be transparent with your employees they deserve that at the minimum.

Just don't do it

Pros

Your co-workers will become good friends, everyone is pretty young, and you get exposed to a very fast-paced environment which can help in future roles. Remote work is nice, but a RTO policy has since been implemented.

Cons

Very little work life balance, if you do not hit a goal (such has one metric out of the 7) you will be reprimanded, lots and lots of cold calling, talent turnover is high, company turnover is high. It seems like a good place to work right out of college for a lot of these kids, do not do it. It is not worth it and will leave you feeling stressed and anxious. The pay is way below market average and the commission structure does not really make any sort of impact until you get pretty high up in spread.
