Pros

Work from home days. You can earn good commission if you work nonstop. CEO is a good man.

Cons

Where do I even begin? Medix is a joke of a company that makes you feel like you are entering the corporate world when all it is is a bunch of high-schoolers playing house. I don’t know how this company has been operating successfully with literal children running it. It is 1000% all about politics and popularity at Medix. You can be the hardest worker with the best numbers but they will choose someone who fits their mold better for a job. All these people care about are happy hours, drinking and football. If you aren’t white and haven’t been in a sorority or fraternity, you probably won’t succeed. Medix lacks diversity. On paper, they make sure to have the “image” of caring for employees’ mental health, diversity, women centered groups, etc. but it’s really all a bandaid to cover the mess it really is. They do not care about their employees’ mental health. They will overwork you and tell you you’re still not doing enough. I’m so lucky to work with another company now, because all this time I thought Medix was normal, and I realize that it wasn’t. I really hope they make changes and restructure leadership as well as hire more diverse employees in higher level positions. I know so many people who still work at Medix and are very unhappy and eager to leave.

Old Boys Club-Good Luck!

Pros

-Working for Medix is completely dependent on the office you are working in. Chicago is by far the largest office-with by far the most resources. -If you do receive the investment from your office leader it is in depth, hands on, fantastic, real time involvement and feedback. -You are handed a good amount of responsibility from a young age -The sales experience will land you a better job in the future. You will be doing everything from building a territory plan, lead generating, cold calling, attending meetings, closing client deals/contracts, account management AND managing your recruitment team.

Cons

-Other reviews referring to top leadership are accurate, very much so an old boys club. -Field offices are at a disadvantage. People in the company people refer to Chicago as "The Flagship" -Very high stress work environment, in part due to the industry but in part due to the metrics put in place by leadership and the mentality behind them. When metrics are brought up it should be business black and white. However, it turns into an emotional belittling conversation. -Understand that the opportunity is what you make of it, however with the turnover and attrition the organization has at the recruitment level it directly impacts the growth in offices. -Simply put, one can work less hours, under less stress, and make more money elsewhere.

Stay Away From This Agency

Pros

Honestly...nothing! The agency is pretty good presenting promises, which really does not translate to anything until they are fulfilled. Beware!

Cons

This agency just drop you like a mic when there's a fallout between them and the contracted facility. There's no plan B to save you, which can leave you jobless for weeks or even longer!
