Pros

I first came to MemberSuite straight out of college, working in a diner kitchen. I was hired as a support rep and was given a tremendous amount of responsibility. Through a ton of hard work I was able to move up in the company in a very short time to end up as a Product Manager. Throughout my time here, I have been able to sample just about every job you can do at a software company and was able to find where my true passion lies. For a recent grad, you couldn't really ask for a better first job. While it was a lot of hard work and long hours, the company is really great at recognizing effort and the desire to advance. MemberSuite is a wonderful example of "you get what you put into it". At times, the stress and workload can get to you, but if you keep your head down and power through it you will be rewarded in the long term. Overall this has been a great "startup" experience for me. Pros - Great opportunity for career advancement - Lots of opportunity for self-autonomy in your job (if you are smart, you are pretty much left to your own devices with guidance here and there) - Management listens to employees about process improvement and new product ideas - Good pay - The team is great. There are a lot of really smart folks working here and all of them like to win

Cons

With great power comes great responsibility. Because the company does have a lot of faith in its employees, the workload can get a little crazy at times. Cons - Depending on the department, you may need to work longer hours - Customers (some of them can be a pain the butt) - Work/life balance can be tough to manage

Pros

The best thing about MemberSuite is the people... we work hard but we laugh harder! Everyone is always willing to help and step up to get the job done. The leadership team is also great. They are getting their hands dirty with us and making sure their teams have the tools and support we need. They also recognize the importance of a work/life balance and are respectful of family and PTO needs.

Cons

Hoping to move to a new office space soon! Because the company is growing, it is often loud at the office. Management is doing what they can to help.

Pros

The environment is upbeat and collaborative. The SLT really works with the staff to make sure not only are achieving our goals in our positions and happy, but we are adding to the company as a whole as well. There is much room for growth an opportunity with them really valuing hard work, rewarding it and wanted to hire from within. The opportunity to attend trade shows or business development conferences to learn more about the latest and greatest trends in the market is an option if anyone who wishes to work on their skills. The clarity of where the company is going is always forth right. As an employee you are always synced into the current initiatives to reach out to more of the market and have an excellent product for out customers. Being a small company the SLT keeps us up to date on how the Board feels about MemberSuite's progress and what is expected of us in the future. The communication is very open. MemberSuite's leadership is not only great on a professional development level but on a personal one as well. They understand everyone has a life outside of the work space and sometimes a vacation or work from home day is needed. The culture as a whole finds that having happy employees directly relates to happy customers. Happy employees even on a ruff day are much more likely to deal with customers in a nicer manor.

Cons

We are in a small office at this time with and open environment, so it can be noisy at times. We are growing and set to eventually expand the office to another location. In the meantime the leadership realizes this is a hassle and coming up with solutions for the interim.
