Pros

Lots of room for growth, heavily involved in the decision making, upper management is easily accessible, and a great culture. The compensation is also very competitive which is surprising for a startup. I truly enjoy helping the company grow and reach the goals we have set out to achieve. Amazing people.

Cons

The company is currently in rapid growth mode with very lofty goals which puts a lot of pressure on management and the employees. Very typical of a startup.

Fun company to work for

Pros

This company is fast-paced and fun. We are expected to work hard, but we also get to play hard..and often. We have at least 1 fun company event each month which is planned by our social committee. The events are usually family friendly so we all get to know each other's families, making us all feel more like family at work. They are very good about hiring and promoting from within and are always interested in knowing where you want to go in your career. Once they know what your interests are, they are good about tailoring your role accordingly, if possible. There are free drinks and snacks in the kitchen every day and Salaries are good, Flex PTO, work from home policy is flexible, and the benefits are great. The company covers 80% of insurance, they offer, FSA, life insurance, and 401k. The people are awesome and so much fun.

Cons

It hard to "turn-off" at times because of the fast-pace (which I think says a lot about the people that work here and their work ethic, but it also speaks to the workload and expectations of the senior management.) The fun environment is great most of the time, but there are definitely days where it's hard to concentrate. Upper management does do a lot to try and fix this, but some days it's just inevitable.

Solid Company

Pros

All the employees are an intelligent group of individuals to be around. PTO days are 'unlimited' as of several months ago which can be good and bad depending on how you look at it. The CEO encourages the employees to take multiple days off in a row or a week or more at a time. He gets it, he has a family too and we all need vacation without feeling guilty. Fast paced environment, fun events, happy hours in the office, good opportunity for personal growth, employees treated respectfully, great culture. Everyone has a voice and is encouraged to be proactive

Cons

No benefits when it comes to matching 401K's but it may come around in the future. The product itself is super complex and takes months to learn (depending on your position), but if you're willing to put in the time/effort it, it can speed up the process.
