Pros

Drinking and commiserating with the other Reps who were just as unhappy at our Sales Meetings. That was fun.

Cons

I went to Meridian after years of working in sales at Fortune 500 companies after my commissions had plateaued and was looking to get into Medical Device Sales. At least I was making commissions then, Meridian has the worst, most unattainable commission structure I've ever seen and nearly none of the reps made anything past our base, which is very low for the industry. Holy turnover! Half the reps and sales managers either quit or were fired in my short time there. MICROMANAGEMENT - don't hire reps if you aren't going to trust them to do their job, they'd rather have you doing needless reports as opposed to selling.

Pros

There wasn’t any good reason to work there. Some bright spots, but overall not a pleasant atmosphere.

Cons

Poor pay, high turnover, products not competitive, management rude and inexperienced.
