Pros

Excellent project management (PMO) department leadership. Union protection after 1 year of service. Eligible for student loan forgiveness. NYC pension.

Cons

Terrible management who bad mouthed other departments (Quality, Project Management, Customer Service) openly to reports. Very political, perception oriented, non-data driven environment. Heavy top-down management with little autonomy to work independently with peers on projects. Perception of effort (personality) rewarded over solid outcomes.

Pros

There is only one pro working for this company - work-life balance

Cons

Where to begin... this company is totally dysfunctional. They are so backwards it's like traveling back in time - horrible old unsupported systems resulting in a TON of manual work, incapable IT using ancient technologies, no leadership only finger pointing and nepotism (Dr. Talya Schwartz is the biggest nepotist of them all), insane turnover rate so nothing gets done, good people are underappreciated and underpaid, horrible company work culture - nobody responds to emails, people yell and even curse at each other as a norm, upper management has no idea or interest in what's going on in the company.... trust me, there's more cons, but I hope you get the point.

Pros

Management is terrible. They don’t care about their employees, just numbers and money. Employment is a revolving door. They have no respect for the ‘little people’. They have supervisors that don’t deserve their positions, don’t know the job, and run a dictatorship with bullying, threats, and belittling.

Cons

Horrible management, terrible communication skills between departments, and absolutely NO respect for employees.
