Pros

The only pro is that they do pay you albeit not fairly, and not even close to compensating what they expect you to do.

Cons

Working here is like having your life controlled by a supervillian. Everyday plotting a new way to make your life miserable and cackling away. The employees are so mistreated entire teams quit, and the unfortunate fools that are stuck here are forced to work in those towns to cover the open spots. Right now we are on mandatory 60 hour work weeks. Expect to not work in the city you were hired in. You have to be at your first job at 8 am, and if that job is an hour away you required to be there at 8 regardless and wont get payed for the drive time. Dont expect annual raises. There is a flawed metric system in place that only sets you up to fail. Daily quota is constantly over 100% so expect to work very late hours. Management is a joke, making arbitrary rules and guidelines. Company motto: "You are expendable" And they make sure you know it.

Pros

They give you a company van paid training some tools if you're lucky they may be new uniforms and I gas card.

Cons

First of they have no clue what it takes to be a cable guy. At least the managers that I had met don't be long and management I have no clue how to keep there employees motivated. There's always threats it's never we need to do this it's do it or find a new job. They don't value a good technician they allow them to just leave instead of fighting to try to keep the guys that are worth something. The GPS track the Vans now which is fine as long as you don't spend every single minute of watching it just to bust people. They asked the technicians opinions on things and completely ignore them. When I started the job it was all about family it's all about having fun and doing the job right those values have gone out the door no longer exist. All about the numbers you don't have the numbers then you aren't Worth $0.02 to them their expectations for new hires is so high the nobody wants to work for the minimum wage but they pay. There's about a dozen managers at every Tech and they have no clue the minute they got their suit I forgot what it was like to be a technician. I have no problem throwing their own guys under the bus to make themselves better.

Pros

Tools provided. That sums up the pros. Since there is a twenty word minimum, I'm still typing. Oh,they do pay a minor percentage of your cell phone bill.

Cons

Extremely low pay. Constantly out of equipment that is required to complete an installation. No or disappointing raises. Lowest pay rates in industry. Too long of hours. Stuck being on-call. Use of eta direct routing program is a huge con. Pathetic over management. You will be forced into being a salesman, pushing their mediocre products on good customers. Maybe I'll be blessed and get fired. Please, oh please fire me so I can have some time to apply to a worthwhile company who appreciates it's staff. Oh, and they will track your every move with gps. If you like control freaks and daily frustrations, please apply. We need some more fools to work here so I don't have to be on call every other week.
