Pros

Clear career track, fun company culture most of the time, great sales training, promote quickly, bonus structure, great people working there, good attitudes all around, looks great on a resume, great perks including their high flyers program and a lot of PTO, growing diversity, it was a great experience in most ways

Cons

You are required to lie to candidates, oftentimes you are looking for commercial information rather than helping them get a job. A lot of time this info is used in ways that directly hurt the candidate. With that being said, if I were a candidate I would still work with Michael Page, just WOULD NOT tell them where I’m interviewing, and especially not who interviewed me. One thing people need to understand is they do not get paid by the candidates, so they do not work for them. That is completely fine and understandable, but the dishonesty was very off putting. The salary was also very low with the experience I had, but is good for someone just starting out who wants a career path.

Pros

The training was great and well thought out

Cons

Terrible management. You’re likely to get promoted based on who you know. If a Director or Manager doesn’t gel with you personally then you’ll find it hard to get recognition. Deals are forced or held back due to the benefit of senior management.

The two factors that determine employee promotion at PageGroup are an exceptional performance and a demonstration of leadership ability. Our management team is highly accomplished and respected, and it is indisputable that recognition from these Managers and Directors is based solely on results. Thank you. Richard Vickers, Regional Managing Director.

Pros

Clear promotion targets in early part of your career. Ex frat boys dream.

Cons

Total boys club, constantly demeaning women. Openly mocks “women at page.” Only 3 working mothers in the entire US and even married women are few and far between.

It’s unfortunate and interesting that you harbored these feelings while employed at PageGroup for over three years. We have extremely high standards in regard to how our employees conduct themselves, and we have zero tolerance for offensive behavior of any kind. Contrary to your comments, our offices are highly populated by driven and successful women - married, single, mothers and non-mothers alike. We value and are deeply vested in every PageGroup employee regardless of gender or job title, and we make every effort to recognize and reward them. Furthermore, a sense of comradery is a definitive element of our company culture, and it is something that will always be encouraged at PageGroup. Thank you. Richard Vickers, Regional Managing Director.
