      A Complete waste of Brain Cells and Time

      Pros

      Onsite clinic. Onsite cafeteria. Covered parking. Good benefits. You can listen to your ipod in the fab.

      Cons

      Our culture is terrible! Very old school, no innovation, outdated tools, manual processes, no employee empowerment in the fab. Duplicated computer systems in the fab in a sorry attempt to prevent scrap because they don't want to spend the $$ to modernize their systems (really convoluted). Lots of partiality from the Group Leads to certain team members. No opportunities for advancement unless your related to the right people if you know what I mean. Pay scale below industry standard. Every two years they cut our hours and put us on Partial Unemployment. We are always playing financial catch up.

      - Too many old people. - Lies to customers. - Old facilities. - Everyone in any meeting adores the CEO (like a cult). - Horrible cafeteria. - No leadership. - New CEO (Steve) thinks he knows everything but didn't do anything to the previous CEO (Ganesh) to prevent the company's actual situation. - Works at nights to align with India

      Pros

      The work life balance can be quite nice at times. However, it comes at the cost of working intense hours some weeks and enjoying some shorter days. Can be lax at times as well.

      Cons

      No prospects. Difficult to aspire to much or stay motivated. Very sexist atmosphere, very boys club at times. Lots of gossiping behind people's backs. Management is incapable of inspiring employees. Days just sludge on with no incentive. Very depressing job. Pay is not nearly enough to tolerate some of this crap.
