Management is extremely unprofessional. They expect you to go above and beyond despite the fact that you are working minimum wage, and despite the fact that some requests are borderline impossible. My store's ac broke during the summer and it took over a month to get it fixed- and management expected us to continue working as hard as normal despite the fact that employees were getting sick or passing out from heat exhaustion. There are no employee benefits at all. Schedules came extremely late- often I would be working Sunday not knowing if I was going in on Monday. This is definitely a "we're all family" workplace, which just means management takes it way more personally if you make any sort of mistake.

The area managers expect you to dedicate your entire life to the job, and even if you can't go to work on a specific day, they expect you to go to work, or they'll basically threaten to cut your hours. On top of that, workers have no benefits at all. Also, since they're a Chinese company, the higher-ups are kinder to you if you're both a man and Asian.
