Pros
When upper management isn’t up your butt, it can be a really chill job that doesn’t take too much out of you.
Cons
Corporate is SO so so so picky and pushy with their rules! I’ve never experienced a company so aggressive when it comes to company policies. If you aren’t good with people or sales, don’t apply. You do not matter to the company if you can’t sell. It will be an endless battle of trying to prove yourself and appeasing corporate. But your efforts will never be enough. I’ve seen it time and time again, if you are doing a good job they will expect more. The weather is also another factor to consider. While the company can’t control the weather, they don’t provide anything to deal with it. In the past, they’d provide jackets and beanies but now you have to pay $60 to get those things. No heaters. No fans. Nothing. You have to sit in the weather and take it. Don’t let the promise of commission truck you. It’s pointless now. It’s 1-2$ a sale compared to the 5-16$ that it used to be. Sales depend on your area, for me I work in a low poverty city so sales are HARD! You have to manipulate the customers to get them at this point. The company pushes that mentality by the way. Do anything to get a sale and I hate it.
