If the bid is too low (which is all too often the case) the hourly pay can go as low as $7 or $8 an hour. This job is physically exausting. The work is very mundane and sometimes very fustrating. Some customers are unbearably rude, difficult, filthy, and demand more than they pay for, and have odacity to complain. Often there's too much micro-managing... they do not allow workers to leave a home when the job is done...(minimum time requirements) Language barriers between partners with different nationalities are very challenging. Office Staff can sometimes come off seeming a little rude and insulting to housekeepers who don't speak English well.
