Pros

nice people and co-workers. flexible schedule allowed me to care for my parents. personal satisfaction I felt when I did a good job for our customers

Cons

Clients can be demanding about things that are not really a big deal. Sometimes I had to travel too far to do a job.

Very Hard Work

Pros

You can get yourself into decent shape with the constant moving, pushing/pulling, scrubbing etc. Weekends off. Some people can be pretty Catty. Learning appreciation for diversity. I like that they contribute to domestic abuse prevention charities. If you really need a job that can pay a bit more than minimum wage and you don't mind very hard work and you dont have expectations for advancement this job will certainly do in a pinch. Pay starts at about 18% of the bid price with raise after 90 days after employee review then yearly for until it tops out I think at 25% (not sure). This can work ok if the bid was fair. (can pay as much as about $12 an hour to start )

Cons

If the bid is too low (which is all too often the case) the hourly pay can go as low as $7 or $8 an hour. This job is physically exausting. The work is very mundane and sometimes very fustrating. Some customers are unbearably rude, difficult, filthy, and demand more than they pay for, and have odacity to complain. Often there's too much micro-managing... they do not allow workers to leave a home when the job is done...(minimum time requirements) Language barriers between partners with different nationalities are very challenging. Office Staff can sometimes come off seeming a little rude and insulting to housekeepers who don't speak English well. Home/work balance leaves a lot to be desired. No health benefits. They refer to Affordable Health Care Website.

Pros

From working retail over 4 years to working at Molly Maid as a housekeeper. Best decision i have made, we do not get off any later than 6 off weekends, the staff is amazing! The smile i see on customers after cleaning a home is amazing and means a lot to me and that is what Molly Maid strives for! This is one job i am happy to have applied!

Cons

i do not have any cons.
