Pros

I appreciate everything about this company. This is a place you have an impact on multiple levels. Your voice is heard all the way up to the CEO. (Who is very open and easy to reach.) This place is very malleable. The people here are really great. I truly enjoy coming to work. I certainly feel like part of a team. The management in the office is excellent. Always ready to teach and come up with new strategies to help you on an individual level and as a team. I appreciate the honest feedback. It helps you become better at your job. You can see 100k+ without being in management. Not many in their 20's who have that opportunity. BUT you have to work hard. This is sales. Advice to anyone considering Mondo: You can do everything right and still fail. Somethings are out of your control in this business. Put your head down and see what you could've done differently. Expect to make cold calls, Duh. Shouldn't even have to say that. Expect to come in each day with a strategy to produce. Expect to see your bank account grow if you put in. You get out what you put in here. The commission structure is solid.

Cons

If there is one weak link on the chain it makes it tougher on everyone. It is a little laid back at times. This is nice because the job can be stressful at times, but it does allow some to lose focus. The commission structure between the two sides of the office is skewed. A good recruiter will put in 65 - 70 hrs a week to find the right candidate. Between educating yourself on the technology of a req. and chasing after candidates and selling them an opportunity, recruiters deserve equal commission. I will acknowledge that start up time for recruiters does not take as long.

Pros

They hire quickly and give a decent pay for straight out of college. There is an opportunity to make above your base salary. Occasionally people will drink beer in the office on Fridays while they complain about how horrible the company is.

Cons

YOU WILL SPEND 75% OF YOUR DAY MAKING COLD CALLS. DO NOT DOUBT THIS. The turnover rate is huge, and for good reason. The stress is crazy high and the management is completely unprofessional, even for a sales gig. If you want to work in a job doing monotonous work that causes huge amounts stress and not use your brain than this is the place for you. Management with little to no experience will micromanage everything you do all the while letting their stress out on you. Make employees write positive Glassdoor reviews to try and mask all the horrible ones. Literally saw them do it.

Pros

I'll start with a few things about my review - it will be as factual and fair as possible with some "behind the scenes" glimpses included. - Regardless of how you do at Mondo and how much you love it or hate it, you will gain experience that will help you. -Pay is decent, commission structure is sub-par but since the firm is really aggressive with weekly goals you can build commission in 6-12 months. - It's a relatively young and casual culture with nice offices throughout the U.S. Some people here are great.

Cons

Turnover is VERY high even for this industry Mondo's goals are WAY above the bar - I have heard this makes it a cake-walk for anyone looking for a new gig since most other firms pale in comparison with regards to intensity of work-force. This is not a pro though, it fosters a high-.stress and high-stakes environment hence all the comments you see about the poor work-life balance. Most of the managers have no prior management experience outside of the company. They do not have a handle on dealing with conflicts and some can resort to management over-kill to try and make up for their lack of experience. What you see is not always what you get. Coming into interview things look great and after accepting a job with them things are smooth sailing for the first few months. Then you start to notice that there are some rifts within management and more senior employees that stuck it out. In other words, A TON of gossip, fake smiles / kindness, going behind peoples backs, and rude / snarky comments in meetings that single out certain team members. Not only is this un-professional but it makes for a terrible work-place! You are lining the shareholders pockets with serious cash for busting your bottom to meet their very high goals!
