Toxic Work Environment

Pros

You get to work with young people who you become extremely close with.

Cons

SO MANY CONS: None of the managers know how to manage. They are only a manager because they are great at the job. People are constantly on edge and getting talks with the VP and manager about performance out of nowhere. You never know how well you are doing or if your job is on the line. Extremely hard to move up in the company. Managers are working other team's roles under the table. Horrible culture

Pros

for the most part the company offered a solid structure that they kept consistent through and through to what "success" means and how it is achieved from the day to day.

Cons

Your success is completely dependent on your willingness to commit to their standard practices (whether you agree with them or not) and your interpersonal relationship with your Team Manager. If you feel your desk (book of business) should be handled differently then you won't last long here especially if you have conflict with your manager. Hard work will only carry you so far at this company, At the end of the day all they care about is metrics. If your metrics don't yield results then they will cut ties with you, Which for the most part is understandable given the fact that this is a sales role however the issue is that upper management won't spend the time to work with you on the level some might need to change that. You truly have to love being in a college fraternity/sorority atmosphere to have any shot in fitting in culturally or have a significant sales background going in to thrive. Hours are long and pay is subpar unless you are able to constantly drive in sales and place candidates, which really only your team leads and managers are able to do. The entry level recruiters are cycled through every 6 months or so until someone sticks.
