      Work ethics needs drastic improvement

      Pros

      There are very few reasons as to why one should be working for Mphasis. Until last year, there was one reason; there was no variable component of pay. From this financial year this is introduced and the whole system is getting screwed up. Rating is not given as per your working. If the older pay policy is restored, this can be a place to work.

      Cons

      Employee treatment is not satisfactory; baising in terms of regional, lingual, closeness to management, etc are adopted. On good projects too. All crap projects are being bid for less to show profits. New ventures are not explored.

      Pros

      brand name at the end 'EDS' earlier and 'HP' now.

      Cons

      There is no respect for the people who are working well, very poor recognition. People who are close to managers and doing their work were given all rewards. CEO announced that bonus will be given based on ratings and now they have made rating poor for people who worked for the whole but recently put their papers .This clearly shows how the company is recognizing employees. If you are relative or close to an manager there , then that's the right place to work . Else you will be treated as a working machine without any previlages. Consistent non-performers who are close to senior level employees are getting consistent promotions , hike and even onsite opportunities.

      - Best Practice manager's to work with; highly qualified and competent. Good Learning experience.

      Cons

      - No encouragement to Domain Understanding. - No recognition to Domain work during appraisal. - Business Analysis practice group is reduced to a resource generator for projects. - To succeed, one does not need to work but build relationship with CRM and Delivery manager's, nepotism, dirty politics rules. - Not enough quality projects. Employees interests are not taken into consideration.
