Pros

You get to travel the world, and work live NBA events. Great perks and people.

Cons

No motivation, pretty much a non existing bonus and pay raise structure. You expected to do the job of 2-3 people and not get compensated.

Pros

Good benefits and vacation time.

Cons

Promotions are based on personality and if you kiss enough ass not on results or performance. Men are promoted quicker than women. Almost all of the senior management are senior management because of time served at the NBA NOT for talent or ability to manage others. Hence, professional growth is nonexistent. Sr. management are fossils and barely know how to use email let alone any new technology like an ipod, or texting!! if you do have 2 brain cells to rub together and are male, you are star amongst dummies so at least you'll move up the ladder fairly quickly.

Pros

It's a good place to have on your resume, and the company is good at training you in a go-getter/doer culture. It's nice to see the end product/result of your work (an event or an nba game).

Cons

Culture of doing can sometimes make you have blinders on. Go through each cyclical year/event without stopping to think and brainstorm improvement. The company seems top-heavy at time with a lot of employees who have been promoted just to be promoted, and because they hold tenure they aren't fired easily. Leaves the company with a lot of dead weight.
