      Pros

      Met and worked with some really talented people. Company lands a lot of and executes on some really cool projects. Employee benefits are very strong.

      Cons

      Very much felt like high school again with the hierarchy and unwritten cultural rules. If you aren't in the 'cool' club your opinion isn't valued. HR Dept was a mess behind the curtain. Favoritism on the team was obvious, and so much so that it effectively cut down everyone else's ability to execute individually. It also made the rest of the dept feel alienated since they weren't the favorite.

      Pros

      There are many good things to say about what NBBJ produces, the quality of their design and the people that work there.

      Cons

      However, they like to believe that everyone has a seat at the table and that they encourage free speech and ideas, but you learn quickly that you will not succeed at NBBJ, unless you start drinking the Koolaid and align yourself with the way they do things. Free thinking isn't what they truly want. and not everyone is "invited to participate at the table" , (only the chosen few). They also over massage ideas, projects and plans to a fault. It can be frustrating sometimes to roll a product out.
