Pros

Coworkers and that's about it. Nothing else.

Cons

If you enjoy being micromanaged this is the place for you. Also, if you enjoy being overworked while receiving the lowest pay in the industry with no raises in YEARS then this company is also for you. If you aren't part of the manager's "inner circle" then they will find any reason to fire you including making stuff up. HR is of no help either and side with the manager. This company could have been great but has turned into a backstabbing cutthroat environment. They have already lost so many valuable employees that would rather quit than deal with the toxic culture.

Pros

Prepared me well for learning about corporate bureaucracy and showed me more of what NOT to do while running a company.

Cons

Fear-based culture, ultimately led by Tim Laney (CEO), which is sad for the good people they have working in middle office and front line positions. If you can find another place to work, do it. FYI, look at the historical graph of ratings on this site. You don't go from 2's to 4's overnight. Leadership manipulating employees from where I sit.

Pros

There are a few good people left at NBH Bank but they are very hard to find.

Cons

This bank pays some of the lowest wages in Denver, they will essentially only consider hiring someone with little to no experience and "try" to train them into a serviceable member of the staff, however, when this is the case for such a large % of the staff, you end up with a terribly run bank by horribly inexperienced people and moral is even worse. The top execs only care about one thing, their stock price and how to increase it. Stay away from this bank unless you have no other options.
