Pros

Love my job, great work life balance, flexible work schedules, some associates depending on job responsibility can work from home, my salary is within industry.

Cons

Need to bring back 401 K match per paycheck, bonus too small for the hard work performed regardless if exempt or non exempt, some officers can strive to be more professional and held accountable, vacation rollover for all associates at least one week. Salary increases not enough for the hard work performed.

*Healthcare and benefits are comparable to the market and that of other employers.

Cons

*miserable culture * bank has NO identity *very low employee morale *no emphasis on forging relationships in the marketplace *extremely inexperienced credit managers with very little credit experience * extremely small deal box (i.e. large turn over in commercial lenders) *no recognition from management at any level *long work days with a military like approach to a minimum required 40 hour work week

Pros

I guess the benefits were okay...despite the fact they made me and my husband get a biometric screening every year to keep our rates down (which they still went up every year anyways...). Some of the people were good to work with, other not so much... They did have women's events that were nice...but they were never publicized to lower level employees so a lot of times the people who actually make the difference, never get to go to the event.

Cons

No recognition for hard fought accomplishments. No bonus or ANYTHING really for stepping up during busy times or short deadlines. No "Thank you" for taking on all your bosses responsibilities while she is on maternity leave twice in two years. You get no recognition, no reward and no promotions unless you know someone hire up (or on the board) and don't expect a raise either.
