Pros

NFP offers the challenge of being able to make a difference for a variety of individuals and companies. If you are someone who wants to be involved in multiple projects that can truly make an impact, then this is a great place to be. I think NFP has an exciting future and I look forward to being a part of it!

Cons

There are some challenges, just like every job and company has. Communication can be tough sometimes given there are multiple office locations and there is a lot going on with the company and our industry.

Pros

Creative opportunity. Minimal supervision.

Cons

Lack of company focus. Poor moral due to over promotion of people favored by Sr. Management, as well as multiple rounds of lay-offs. Decisions, if made, are done in a vacuum. Lack of team environment - competing areas/lines of business/departments. If you stay there long enough, you'll eventually move up. No training. Few experienced Sr. level leaders to learn from.

Thank you for your review. We like to think we are more focused than ever on our clients, our employees and our business. For example: we have gone private, have a new CEO and have recently created three culture councils to get cross-company insights on the experiences of our current employees. Those councils are the "Talent Acquisition Council", the "Talent Development Council" and the "Women in Leadership Council". These councils of 20-25 employees from all across NFP, will help us be nimble and forward-thinking within our growing company.

Pros

Very flexible hours. They pay good and the turnover is high so it's easy to move up if you can stand it. It's easy to shine if you are halfway decent at your job. They use the most recent technologies.

Cons

There is no training and not many experts to learn from so you are on your own as far as learning new stuff. Lots of dead weight in the staff so most of your coworkers are vampires. Management really doesn't care that everyone is unhappy. A lot of jobs have been moved offshore.
