Pros

Benefits and pay is good

Cons

Zero Work life balance They say one thing and do the other Management are bullies, they are not accommodating and try to get rid of you when you stand up for yourself. Taking a unpaid leave of absence is based on your performance. This is in their handbook lol. They are trying to go back to the office full time, so if you are looking for remote or a balanced hybrid model then this place is not for you. It’s a toxic call Center environment, you account for every minute you are not on the phone. They want a robot for an employee

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. It is NFP's culture to support our employees and we're sorry you didn't have a good experience. We work hard to create an environment which values our employees treating them with respect. Bullying is never ok. If this is happening, we encourage our employees to speak with their Manager, HR Business Partner or call NFP's confidential and anonymous hotline at (855) 296-9085 to report it. -Mary Steed, Chief People Officer

Pros

Good RRSP plan Flexible work /home /office Good benefits plan All of the above are offered at International Brokerages.

Cons

In a first glance, this seems like a company that value their employees, they pride themselves as a 5x Best Places to Work award winner in Insurance, but the fact is that their status is declining as they are loosing many good people. Some teams/ divisions are very well managed, while others lack true leadership. In some divisions /departments, you will not find a good team spirit and it can be quite frustrating to see how some are overwhelmed with work and others have very little on their plate…. NFP takes pride in growing quickly /acquisitions but they are loosing that human touch!

Like most companies NFP has had turnover, but we continue to grow and are now over 6,000 employees. We are proud of being named as one of the best places to work in insurance for 5 consecutive years and are serious about our PeopleFirst culture. We continue to work to improve how we support each other as well as provide opportunities for our leaders, managers and employees to be the best versions of themselves they can so everyone feels they belong and can use their talents here at NFP. Thank you for taking time to provide feedback on our page.

Pros

Benefits are ok Colleagues are nice

Cons

-Management makes promises that they don't keep. -Too many managers/team leaders, not enough employees to do the work. -Horrible workflow. Have to comple templates for every change, which is time wasting for the client and for the broker. -Almost all employees are frustrated, hense the reason many have left.

We agree we have great employees at NFP! Thanks for the comment on our benefit offerings. On your other feedback, we encourage employees to speak with their HR Business Partner as we want to hear about any issues so we can provide support. We're sorry it doesn't sound like you've had a positive experience. NFP cares and we want to provide opportunities for all employees to be successful and grow in their careers with us.
