Pros

Networking across is fun and easy, young staff are often looking out for each other, looks good on your resume

Cons

Upper management & directorate determined to undermine staff and middle managers, culture of micromanaging, little to no upward mobility, extremely passive aggressive office culture, the DEI office is for aesthetic not actually helpful (despite their best efforts, not really their fault) and their office/team is often undermined by HR, if you work in the journalism department find a backup job because the second the economy takes a turn you’re the first to go.

Pros

If you keep your head down everything is fine. Easy to get hired here.

Cons

Incredibly badly managed. Inconsistent messaging to employees and badly enforced standards.

Pros

Tiny desk, interesting work, some colleagues were encouraging.

Cons

My boss didn't really know how to train or delegate me to do what they needed, and my manager was mostly checked out and working on other projects.
