Excellent for entry-level Information Security, as long as you are willing to study and learn for certification exams. Often there are other positions open that you can transition to that may be a be a better fit for you.
Cons
Interactions between departments in Operations can be rough sometimes, and it sometimes became a source of frustration for me. The biggest pain was that certain clients are either non-responsive to suggestions and notifications or are adamantly against them, even when they are in their best interest. There is no shift differentials for Night and Swing shift analysts. They get paid the same as Day shift for more inconvenient hours. This is important because if you are new, you are likely to get put on Nights or Swings.
