Great mission, an abundance of very smart people. Good pay and benefits.

Cons

Heavy handed , tone deaf management filled with opportunists and politicians. Constantly shifting priorities and direction. Little to no cohesion. Good people leaving or being fired at an alarming rate. Very low morale.

Great Mission. Benefits and Vacation time are generous.

Cons

Constant turnover. Multiple terminations. Constantly shifting goal lines for job duties. Ineffective upper management. No communication between departments. No upward mobility. Upper management makes erratic decisions based on relationships rather then what's right for the organization.

Pros

The mission is honorable, the staff are very bright, the benefits are good and there are many opportunities for working on new projects.

Cons

Management is inept -- they have a Ready, Fire, Aim approach to things and are spending more effort trying to cover their butts than actually trying to help the employees do their jobs. Management appears to have actively assembled a team that discourages dissent, much to the detriment of actually accomplishing the goals of the project in an efficient and timely manner.
