Pay, Benefits, learning opportunities, some of the staff are nice.

Cons

One hand doesn't know what the other is doing. Lack of communication, and support for employees. Bait and switch tactics. Employees are not aware of changes until they have already been made into effect.

Pros

This position is very flexible with work hours, and is a good starting point to grow into different areas. The pay I would consider average, and the licensing team is well connected and collaborative.

Cons

Management is always changing, the policies are always changing and up in the air. It is difficult to work with management to advocate for foster parents and their needs. Managers promote their close co-workers or friends and the opportunity for growth is stagnated by the inability to interview for open positions. I would say being very vocal about wants and needs and self advocacy are musts.
