Pros

Employment in Waco, TX. Some cool coworkers.

Cons

Presidents and senior management do not follow the code of ethics yet it's pushed on everyone else to follow. HR does not know how to do their job, they're the center of most gossip in the company. There's no processes put in place for anything, once had to re-do my budget presentation 5 times because no one knew who was in charge of approving it.

Pros

- Team Orientated Co-Workers - Great Medical, Dental, Eye - 401k is above average

Cons

C-Suite has reached its peak, - Interim CEO does not project confidence or vision, communicates poorly - COO is not believable, lacks credibility across brands with franchisee’s with 3 years or more in the system - CMO is a question mark. Seems average. Conclusion. Majority or employees and owners don’t believe current team can get us to the next level. Pay/Salary is mid low to average in all job categories. Pay has not come close to keeping up with inflation. Bonus is rarely obtained in full across multiple brands, The formula for calculating is not completely disclosed. Little incentive to go above and beyond. PTO is average, should be increased by 30% minimum

Pros

I learned a lot during my time at Neighborly and I personally had a great team and manager. I was not micromanaged and had the creative reigns to do what I wanted, which was great for my professional development. The digital team is full of smart, amazing people that are great to work with on a daily basis, and there are big things coming for the department. Work/life balance is also great, and there are many opportunities to be promoted within the company, whether it's the same department or a different one.

Cons

Honestly, I was not a fan of the Code of Values and having to recite them. Also, It sometimes takes a while for campaigns or projects to get approval. There were times that I spent many hours putting together presentations or proposals and no actions were taken to approve them or give feedback.
