Pros

- It’s a job. - Some clients are nice*

Cons

Where to begin? -Company is split up into pods but the setup is completely crazy depending on your pod. -They have ZERO patience with trying to train you up as a technician specially if you don’t have a lot of exposure with working within a managed service provider. -Higher power forbid you run a few minutes late ONE TIME or it could mean you end up getting fired or simply never hearing the end of it. -Training is a joke. Most of the material that is gone over with you is all second grader easy stuff however that could be given to you in a manual to read over. -The stuff you should be learning that is out in the field is completely ignored and don’t train you on your pod’s clients, instead waste time trying to teach you on how to “find things”. -One bad review and things get sour, one bad review on your first two weeks on the job and the sky will fall on you. -Environment is wound up and tense. -Will not even try to work with you on weaknesses, help you understand how to do your job better or even follow up after requests for performance evaluations. -They just ended up letting someone go and very suddenly after just a month on the job.

Pros

I am forever for the opportunity to be a part of something as special as NetCov. I regularly have as much fun working as I would any other leisure activity. This place is unlike anywhere I have ever worked because the primary goal is to do things the right way and if there is a better way to do something thing, they are always open to listen. Personally I have been told on multiple other jobs "this is just how we do it ok?" when I brought up something that was being done wrong. Good suggestions are frequently adopted along with recognition. Ownership mentality is a big focus and every single person here cares about the work that they do and the clients that they service. We all work together and make each other better every day, it's almost as if you are getting paid to go to school. Everyone is in a constant state of both learning and training by being encouraged to collaborate with each other. If you want an opportunity to be a part of rapidly growing and unique IT company, this is it.

Cons

Realistically if you don't fit our mold, you aren't going to make it here. Frequently I have heard of the importance of an employee having both personality and character ahead of their technical skill because they are confident that the right people can be taught anything technical but the rest cannot be taught. Some of the negative reviews are prime examples of that requirement and/or lack thereof and I'd be doing a disservice to everyone by not refuting a few of them. The most ludicrous first...The light above the bathroom is so you don't walk across the office to an occupied one, it just mirrors the light on the inside, you're clearly insane and I'm glad it didn't work out. The next one is pretty easy. If your view of the training process is "indoctrination" then you don't fit the mold at all and the training that focuses on undoing bad habits that people picked up elsewhere must have been difficult. I'm fairly confident I know who wrote that one and well... they had a couple colossal screw ups as a direct result of still "doing it their way"

Cons

Absolutely none yet! Management seems to always listens to any issues if there are any.
