Pros

- Enormous market opportunity and vision - Strong talent throughout the company - Strongest performers are generously rewarded, weakest colleagues are shown the door - Bleeding edge technology, excellent engineering talent - Well funded with large investors - Flexible scheduling, generous PTO, understanding of work-life balance issues - Exercise groups over lunch hour - Office perks like open air environment, snacks, beer, ping pong, shuffleboard If you can handle the ups and downs that inevitably come with being a young company in a brand new industry, this company is the place for you. The company has always had a leading edge strategy and has been consistently ahead of the competition and marketplace on when to pivot, what to build, and how to position the products and capabilities. As any entrepreneur knows, that does not always translate into immediate and direct success or stability. A lot of the negative reviews on glassdoor come from individuals that were hired when the revenue and client base was growing consistent and there was an overriding sense of security and stability. Unfortunately there are going to be bumps when you are trying to fundamentally change an industry as large as marketing. When those bumps hit, they surprised and spooked a lot of people. Many of those folks have left, some of their own accord, some because the business had to pivot, and others because they were not strong performers. The upside is that the team has gotten stronger, more nimble, and more focused as a result of the turnover. And fundamentally, the underlying technology is second-to-none. There have been massive investments in research and development over the last couple years that have finally positioned the company to take off in a major way. It has been a long road but the company is in a place to turn a lot of the marketing world upside down. The future is exceedingly bright.

Cons

- Ups and downs in revenue and client sales as the market and product matures - It's not easy being in an infant industry - Currently at an awkward size culturally, too big to have the perks of a small company, not big enough to have the perks of a large company - Tendency to bite off more than can be chewed in product development

Thanks so much for your candid feedback! As we continue to develop as a company, we're focused on evolving and making Networked Insights the best place it can be. As the new Director of People for NI, I am focused on driving culture and engagement, and will continually be looking for opportunities to leverage our strengths and improve our weaknesses. A big piece of that is a focus around communication -- specifically with frequency and transparency. Additionally, we've transitioned our "Leadership Team" into an expanded "Management Team" to ensure we can make communication better, get decisions made more rapidly, empower more people to form teams as needed to solve our challenges, and to align the organization to work more agilely. We’re excited about these changes, and look forward to continually striving to improve so that we can be our best!

Pros

People are fantastic! Am working with top-tier minds, creative thinkers. They're committed to doing great work and moving the company forward. New product launch has everyone very excited!

Cons

Physical work environment needs improvement, old, dingy, doesn't feel like we're in an innovative, disruptive and cool space, hope we can make an effort to have it be exceptional and extraordinary, not just average/acceptable.

Thanks for the feedback! We're happy you're happy and definitely agree that the people are fantastic! I'm excited for our new office and can't wait to move at the end of November. We can promise you that our BRAND NEW space definitely won't feel dingy....in fact, not only will it be awesome, but the open space combined with the huge floor-to-ceiling windows and funky designs will get your innovation and creative juices flowing!

Pros

People at NI collaborate frequently. NI has a generous time off policy. Weekly Updates by all departments (product, service, sales, etc..) are shared with employees and all are encouraged to participate and provide feedback to management. There is a real pull yourself up by the bootstraps mentality here and the product is also very cool.

Cons

Getting more customers through the pipeline- long sales cycle.
